The oldest of ten in birth order and responsible for many tasks growing up, Cheryl used art and writing early on for solace. Growing up in several places moving with family taught her flexibility. Early on Cheryl was chosen for a gifted artist program in grade school for a university study. Later after accumulating many university hours in art/studio/art history as well as in literature and communications receiving a BA in 2000, she then worked on a MS degree in HRD finishing all but 10 hours towards the MS progrom; however, it was not her "passion". So, Cheryl has been working with her passion-- pastels and now oils to capture the movement in nature. Presently she is also working at writing poetry, children's stories, and is also working on two novels (unpublished). Cheryl is looking at all the joyful potential in both herself and others. In addition, she is doing research for professional storytelling events dealing with Native American cultural stories as well as her own written stories for children on a variety of subjects.

A PLACE TO WRITE, MUSE, POST ART & THOUGHTS

We often go through life alone... yet, sometimes someone comes along that draw us and in the process we see something in a different way or from a different slant. This blog will be about the aspect of that process and the writings, poetry, posts, artwork, and thoughts on books, or something that comes along serendipity to add to the mix... of why each individual is 'unique'... Exploration of all the beauty found in many places are also a part of the process. My hope is to share thoughts with meaning and substance.
